Zo Computer — the Personal Cloud. Your files, data, tools, and AI in one place you control.

The Personal Cloud

We're on a mission to give everyone a permanent home on the internet: a Personal Cloud. Today, the Internet is mostly controlled by a handful of big tech companies – but it doesn't have to be this way.

Our experience of the internet is like being on a tour bus. We peer at the internet through windows: apps & websites built by other people. Sometimes they let us out to walk around, but our data and attention are ruthlessly monetized.

To truly live on the internet, you must have a permanent home. A place where you're allowed to construct anything you want, and interact with other individuals & businesses without middlemen.

In 1984, Steven Levy wrote: “Access to computers—and anything which might teach you something about the way the world works—should be unlimited and total.” This was the spirit of early personal computing, and we're on a mission to bring it back.

Today, the cloud is the most evolved form of computing, but only developers and tech-enabled companies are able to tap its potential. We must teach everyone how to fish, and give them access to better tools. We must reimagine the cloud for the rest of the world.

With Zo, we're on a mission to build the Personal Cloud. Your files, data, tools, and AI – all in one place that you control. Through the collective power of our personal clouds, we can rewild the Internet together.

Our name comes from the Ancient Greek word for life, zoe. Steve Jobs called the computer “a bicycle for the mind”. Zo is a living computer in the cloud: a Pegasus for the mind.
